What is it?

We offer a variety of training packages designed to meet your schedule, your goals, your budget, and your individual needs or health concerns.

One on One Personal Training

Your personal trainer will design a program for you incorporating scientific exercise progression and specific target-area training. Workouts are varied and interesting, incorporating different, innovative techniques to get you the best fitness results in the fastest amount of time. With one-on-one personal training you’ll benefit from individual supervision from one of our professionally qualified and certified personal trainers, and you’ll do it at your convenience –at days and times that fit your schedule.

Partner Training / Share-a-Trainer

Start your program with a friend and share the costs of having your own trainer lead you both through a challenging, fast-moving exercise program that will strengthen your body, burn calories, and get you results. We train couples, friends, mothers-and-daughters, and coworkers. Partner up and get moving!

In-Home Personal Training Sessions

Want us to come to you? We can do that! Your personal trainer will travel to you. Rates are slightly higher to cover travel expenses and time, but if you like to train at home, but need a little extra push or motivation, we can help! We provide all the equipment, tools, and energy you need!

Post Rehabilitation Training

If you’re coming back from an injury or accident, and have been cleared by your physician and/or physical therapist, personal training is a great way to keep up on your prescribed exercise program and continue to benefit from the accountability and consistency of working with a fitness and exercise professional.

Small Group Personal Training

Work out with a small group of 6-8 people, with a trainer to lead you through a challenging, full body weight training workout that will get your heart racing, your blood pumping, and keep your motivation levels high! You’ll work out under the instruction of an experienced NYSF Certified Personal Trainer, all at your own pace, with adjustable weighted bars, dumbbells, bands, medicine balls, and more. Great music, great workouts, and a great way to stay motivated to reach your goals! You’ll get three group training sessions per week with your personal trainer and fellow group participants.

Fitness Assessment

We will include a fitness assessment and a body composition analysis, nutrition coaching session and goal assessment before you start any form of personal training—to tell you where you are, and where you should be. You may also choose to purchase just the assessment. After assessing your current fitness levels and your goals, we’ll design a program that emphasizes balanced nutrition, cardiovascular exercise, and resistance training.

Fit Kids

Inactivity and obesity in children between the ages of 6 and 16 is in epidemic proportions. Furthermore, children in this age group are spending 50% of their free time on computers and video games. NYSF is attacking the situation head on! We have created a program that combines a cardio workout with strength and flexibility exercises. As we focus on specific muscle groups, utilize circuit style training and add fun nutritional tips, our goal is to instill health and fitness as a way of life. Our program is demanding but emotionally supportive. We challenge each member to work to his/her full capability, while still maintaining the building of confidence and self-esteem as our highest priority. Both the athletically inclined child and the sedentary child will benefit greatly from NYSF’s Fit Kids.

Nutritional Counseling

Whatever your needs are, our registered dietitian offers information, education and training. Types of nutritional training include: nutrition counseling, 3-day diet analysis, individualized nutrition meal plan (1 day), and a weight control program (8-10 month). In addition to these personalized programs, NYSF offers wellness seminars for members, and the community. We recognize that a healthy diet can help reduce the risk of disease, prevent complications associated with pre-existing conditions, and increase your energy-as well as enhance your self-image and general sense of well being.
