Get in shape for the upcoming golf season with NYSF's golf fitness training!


A video analysis of your swing followed by a physical screen will be performed by a certified Titleist Performance Institute trainer. Based on the testing results, a report is created outlining areas for improvement. We will then design a program that will attack your weak areas and imbalances while making you stronger, more flexible and in better condition. You can choose to work with a trainer or do the workout on your own. Each workout is six weeks long and has step-by-step instructions and pictures for each exercise.

Strength Exercises to increase stability in the positions where weakness and stress occur in the golf swing. Increasing strength in golf specific muscles will not only give the golfer greater distance, the golfer will be able to maintain better posture and positions due to stronger core muscles.

Flexibility Exercises designed to lengthen the muscles used in the golf swing. Increased range of motion results in a larger swing plane, which in turn will increase the club head speed. Flexibility also helps the golfer get into and maintain better positions through their entire swing, creating a more accurate and consistent smoother swing.

Metabolic Training specific to golf is included to give the golfer the endurance they need to prevent muscle fatigue during a round. This training helps prevent postural changes, loss of balance, physical and mental fatigue.

Balance and Core Training is the direct result of good strength, flexibility and endurance. Golf specific core exercises and balance drills are performed at each session, teaching golfers better control of their bodies during the swing creates more consistent ball striking.
